In A Nutshell:
Our Manager, Retail Media ensures the execution of media plans are running smoothly and line up with client goals and expectations. VaynerMedia is on the cutting edge of retail media buying trends. As the Media Manager, Retail Media you will be responsible for planning, optimizing and reporting campaigns to meet and surpass the clients’ success metrics while also supporting the team where needed with other projects and planning.
What You’d Do:
- Oversee a team of Media Analysts providing leadership, mentorship, vision and technical expertise through digital commerce strategy.
- Monitor campaigns for performance ensuring campaigns are pacing accordingly, managing spend, troubleshooting campaigns, creating insights about performance, and thinking about how consumers seamlessly purchase clients' products across any digital channel.
- Create and present sophisticated media investment strategies to clients, derived from industry insights and pacing reports, campaign build, ad-hoc analysis, and high-touch optimizations to ensure relevant metrics and insights are highlighted.
- Develop and deliver client-facing campaign reports to showcase buying/traffic performance, new business opportunities, and storytelling:
- Manage up to senior leadership corresponding to the most crucial aspects of a client's business, keeping them abreast of any pertinent developments and urgent client needs.
- Manage ad technology vendors needed to execute specific retail media campaign work.
- Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies relevant to clients’ media strategies
What You’ve Got:
- 3-4 years experience media agency experience as a Media Buyer
- Experience leading and managing a team or an individual
- Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables, V-Look Ups, and macros
- Proficiency in social platforms, with a focus on those with retail integrations like Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and more.
- Experience with data analytics platforms for reporting and dashboarding (Tableau, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Snowflake)
- Proficiency across large-scale media buying is expected, but not limited to:
- Amazon Ads: AAC, Amazon DSP, Managed Service
- Retail Media Platforms: Walmart Connect, Instacart Ads, Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, Criteo Commerce Max, CitrusAd, PromoteIQ
Knowledge of the core features of leading SaaS platforms
- Skai, Pacvue, CommerceIQ, etc
- Fluency with analytics, attribution and measurement systems. Including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Stratum, Luminate
