The Role

As the Marketing and Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Veeva Development Cloud, you will be part of the foundational team representing the Vault Development Cloud and Quality solutions (Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Safety) to prospects and customers within the CS&G (Contract Services & Generics) Life Science market in India.
 
You will be responsible for executing the marketing plan, generating and qualifying opportunities,  collaborating with partners and internal stakeholders for marketing and SDR functions, developing into a Veeva expert on Products, SDR tools, Processes, and Culture, be able to earn full-time Sales and Account Partner role in 2 to 3 years.
 
A strong understanding of the marketing function, sales development, lead generation and qualification, life science industry, enterprise software sales cycle, Cloud & SaaS applications, and a passion for creating and nurturing new market potentials.
 
This is a highly visible role at Veeva that requires considerable market experience,  industry expertise, connections, and domain knowledge.  Your job will be to partner with internal Sales and Account partners, Strategy and product experts, and key decision makers on the customer side and bridge the gap between market and Veeva experts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop into a Veeva expert (products, SDR tools/processes, culture)
  • Adept at prospecting/qualifying new accounts. ~5 qualified opportunities per month
  • Seamlessly create relationships with prospects and APs
  • Be part of the SDP community
  • Execute the Marketing plan (4 L&L Sessions,  4 Webinars, 1 Industry event, 1 LinkedIn post/month)
  • Be capable of taking on a Sales and Account Partner role in 2 to 3  years

Requirements

  • 4+ years of combined experience across marketing, sales support, SDR, and sales support roles
  • Minimum 2+ years of focused experience with new-generation Informatics and Cloud/SaaS solutions provider 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding marketing and SDR KPIs
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate and key messaging
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Must have a team-first mentality
  • Ability to travel as needed-  travel will vary depending on the candidate's location and market
  • Languages: Excellent English and Hindi and good to have regional language speaking skills
