Software Engineer (iOS/Swift)

About the job

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to make ViFiVE App for iOS to support one of the best mobile healthcare experiences. You're someone who excels at user-centric product development and has a real passion for making beautiful, smooth and delightful mobile experiences.

We want you to:

• Be customer-focused and understand that shipping impactful software involves trade-offs and collaboration.
• Apply your knowledge of iOS to work on a small team whose work impacts various groups of patients (users)
• Get stuff done and thrive in a collaborative environment by interacting effectively with others
• Have a strong sense of ownership and a curiosity to understand how things work (even if it is outside of your area of expertise)
• Enjoy building new products and features, and enjoy working with product managers and designers.
• Be familiar with standard software engineering methodology, e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development
• 2+ years of Swift experience
• Solid data structures, algorithms and software design
  

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS or a related field
• Experience with hands on technical leadership, leading project teams and setting technical direction
• Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
• Experience shipping product in a dynamic and agile early stage startup environment

Our engineers develop full-stack software from Machine Learning to Cloud Services – this requires state-of-the-art research skills and market awareness, the soft skills to effectively interact and ask questions, and the ability to quickly turn ideas into products. We expect you to be highly autonomous and independent and lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
