Granicus needs a Senior Solutions Advisor for our Global Growth, Enablement and Digital Services Delivery Team. This key position is responsible for leading consultative engagements and executing strategies that drive digital transformation services and platforms within US-based state government agencies. This role requires deep expertise in US state-based government operations as well as providing strategic vision for driving growth and state-level business development. The selected candidate will provide hands-on leadership and sales and customer success enablement designed to deliver impactful solutions and achieve measurable ROI in our state-level digital services vertical.

What your impact will look like here:

  • Strategic Leadership and Sales Enablement:
  • Develop and implement sales enablement strategies in close collaboration with the Sales Operations team.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and provide actionable insights to the Product Management team to enhance product offerings and sales tactics.
  • Operationalize growth opportunities by supporting the Marketing and BDR teams with targeted strategies and initiatives.
  • Create and manage client renewal strategies and playbooks to drive growth and maintain high client retention, in partnership with the Customer Success team.
  • Partner with Implementation teams to refine project approaches, optimize scoping, and enhance pitching techniques to secure new business.
  • Solution Design and Delivery:
  • Design and deliver custom solution collateral in coordination with Product Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams to develop and execute business strategies for digital transformation, focusing on state government needs.
  • Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and design comprehensive solutions tailored to state government challenges.
  • Build and manage business models and reporting dashboards to assess market opportunities and track performance.
  • Thought Leadership and Strategy:
  • Drive thought leadership by promoting complex solutions and best practices across the state government sector.
  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for digital services, including business process automation, CRM systems, and digital communication strategies.
  • Establish and manage partnerships to address solution gaps and validate market hypotheses through experimentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with consulting, product, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and effective strategy execution.
  • Engage with executive leaders and customer advisory board members to shape and implement a cohesive global growth strategy.

You'll love this job if you have / can:

  • Proven experience leading digital transformation projects specifically within state government agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of state government operations, challenges, and digital service needs.
  • Expertise in sales enablement, including developing strategies and tools to support sales efforts and drive growth.
  • Experience with a range of web and digital technologies aimed at enhancing online service delivery.
  • Skilled in managing digital outreach and community engagement initiatives related to state government.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing go-to-market strategies, including launching new products and expanding market presence.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with state government agencies.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in communications, strategy, technology, policy, or consulting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging and influencing diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies based on evolving market dynamics and organizational goals.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, depending on business needs.
