About the Role
The Bus/Stocker is responsible for supplying service equipment and restocking supplies to the restaurant throughout the shift.
Position Responsibilities
- Unloading pallets & putting away inventory
- Stocking walk in and storage areas accordingly and neatly
- Bringing up necessities from loading dock
- Restocking shelves in kitchen storage room & front of house shelves
- Rotating stocks
- Picking up liquor requisitions
- Assisting with silverware roll ups
- Refills salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders and all other related supplies
- Stocks dishes and glasses as required
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp Must be able to move throughout the restaurant areas for an entire shift
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
Requirements
What’s Required
- Prior experience as a bus person and/or stocker is preferred, but not required
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant
- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
