| Howard Systems seeks a remote accountant for 3 months. • All accounting activities including, but not limited to the following: o General accounting >Heavy Accounts reconciliations o Reporting and any other special projects as assigned by management. o May prepare journal entries and other processes to support an accurate and timely monthly general ledger close o Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulatory guidance and professional standards. o Provide assistance to Accounting Manager o Work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product. o Work closely with all major functional leaders of the company Requirements - • Degree – bachelor's degree in accounting • Years of experience – 3-4 • Systems – SAP required, Trintech nice to have. • Industry experience – Banking preferred. If no banking experience, financial services will suffice. • This is a project that requires heavy reconciliation. Good research capabilities required. |
