About the role
Why are we recruiting?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about what she/he does, because our clients are facing a number of challenges today:
Industrialization of CSR and ESG projects within organizations, with an increase in the volume of data requested and a need to integrate CSR initiatives into operational processes.
Acceleration of certain tasks linked to the collection, analysis and transformation of ESG data, to reduce time to action.
More specifically, the scope of your position will include:
1. A customer-oriented external dimension
You will manage projects from start to finish, and lead missions to support the implementation of ESG reporting: double materiality analysis and associated roadmaps, implementation of CSRD ... all accelerated with AI.
You will organize the smooth running of assignments: planning the team's work and operational supervision of consultants, monitoring schedules, using Ekimetrics tools and assets.
You will be autonomous and a driving force during the assignment to produce more effective deliverables.
You will be internally and externally identified as an expert in sustainability issues.
2. A People & Solution dimension
You will continuously contribute to the optimization of technical solutions developed in-house and deployed with our customers.
You will build tomorrow's standards to contribute to Ekimetrics' operational excellence.
You will participate in leading the Sustainability community, monitoring new CSR issues, metrics and frameworks that our consultant data scientists can test and implement.
You will contribute proactively to the development of more junior members of the team and to consultants wishing to upgrade their skills on the subject, to increase their impact in all our customers' areas of activities.
3. A commercial and business development dimension
You will participate in pre-sales activities for Ekimetrics projects.
Externally you will promote the innovative business solutions we offer our customers by taking part in themed conferences or other specific technological events.
About You
People are at the center of who we are at Ekimetrics, so as well as excellent technical skills, it’s important that you also have the following:
6-7 years’ experience as consultant/project manager working independently in sustainable development, CSR, ESG, with experience in implementing and/or auditing CSR strategy, ideally CSRD (gap analysis and/or double materiality), Carbon emission etc.
Ability to identify and articulate different reporting frameworks.
Mastery and experience of certain reporting frameworks, including CDP (Climate, Water, and/or Forest), and some of S&P Global CSA (DJSI), MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, Vigeo-Eris, EcoVadis.
Mastery of the following reporting standards or frameworks: DPEF, Integrated Reporting, GRI, SASB, TCFD.
Knowledge of current and future ESG reporting requirements: SFDR, CSRD, ISSB, SEC, etc.
A friendly and passionate person who works well in a team and knows how to popularize complex concepts
Comfortable and confident liaising with key stakeholders at all levels of a company.
An ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Business-level English fluency
Proficiency in APAC languages is a plus (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, etc.)
Experience in Big4 or fund is a plus.
