We are searching for a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our decision-making process, turning large volumes of data into actionable business insights. The successful candidate will help track business results, shape product strategy, and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, interpret, and analyze vast quantities of data from diverse sources.
- Develop and manage databases, reports, and dashboards to track business performance.
- Detect trends and patterns in complex data sets, providing insights to guide business decisions.
- Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
- Collaborate with the business and IT teams to implement and optimize new business processes.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of data collection systems and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement business solutions.
- Collaborate with management to establish departmental OKRs that align with the company's strategic goals. Regularly monitor, report, and analyze performance against these OKRs.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for product health. Analyze these metrics to understand product performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Participate in product strategy discussions, bringing a data-driven perspective to help shape future product features and enhancements.
- Design and implement A/B tests in coordination with the product team, analyze results, and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Facilitate regular product review sessions where key product metrics are presented, discussed, and actions are decided upon to improve product health.
- Assist in building financial models to forecast product growth and profitability, considering various scenarios and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, Metabase, PowerBI, etc.
- Understanding of data warehousing, data cleaning, and other data management strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development and marketing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data in a simplistic manner.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the financial industry is a plus.
