Workdays & Hours: FLSA Nonexempt part-time position, working a maximum of 19 hours per week for 6 months. Flexible work hours as approved and agreed upon by supervisor between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.

A Cybersecurity Intern - IT Security position is available with the City of Fort Worth IT Solutions’ Information Security department and reports to the Sr. Information Security Manager. The Cybersecurity Intern - IT Security assists in proactively monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining security policies, providing end-user support for security-related applications, analyzing and reporting key performance indicators, and writing documentation such as work instructions or policies. The working environment for this position is primarily office-related.

Physical Demand

Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Background Check
Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
