As a Test Engineer at Cambridge Intelligence, you’ll sit within the platform team and rotate between various products working on features from their inception, ensuring excellent quality throughout. You’ll have a natural interest in the devops side of things and want to learn and develop in this particular area.
What’s involved?
This is a collaborative role and you will focus on maintaining and improving the high standard of our product offerings. You’ll engage with the entire development team to make improvements and build quality into the product. Collaborating with Platform Engineers you’ll also identify areas of greatest risk in each release/feature and adapt test plans accordingly. determining how testing of novel features may be better enabled where the interface is not obvious.
This is a full time permanent position with hybrid working. (Three days in the office during your 3 month probation and at least one day a week afterwards)
Requirements
Who’s the ideal candidate?
You’ll have considerable manual testing experience using agile processes. You’ll also have some experience of exploratory testing, defining acceptance tests and be an analytical and creative thinker. You’ll ideally have some knowledge of platform specific procedures such as running and viewing CI/CD pipelines, deploying code from branch clusters and creating dummy paths and pipelines. Some understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript is highly desirable.
