F&G is hiring for a Director, PRT Client Management

The Director, PRT Client Management will manage and enhance our relationships with potential and existing PRT clients, ensuring their ongoing operational support and satisfaction. This position will also participate in creating the strategic roadmap for the PRT Sales and Operations organization.

The Director, PRT Client Management will report to the SVP, PRT Sales and Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage, oversee and support PRT conversion transactions which requires complex decision making that ensures transactions are executed effectively and in a timely manner.  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PRT clients and our Third-Party Administrator throughout transaction onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Update and evolve the PRT Conversion Project Plan for each client.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular client meetings to review project progress, address concerns, and adapt plans as needed based on client feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with Pricing, Valuation, Legal and Treasury to ensure transactions are managed effectively.
  • Prepare and present ongoing Management Reports to inform executives of noteworthy updates.
  • Collaborate and partner with other members of the PRT Operations team in addition to our Third-Party Administrator.
  • Manage and support existing process documentation  and the development of new processes to improve PRT client management and onboarding workflow.
  • Oversee the management of ongoing administrative issues related to covered annuitants.
  • Collaborate with PRT team members to prepare information required for state exams, internal and external audits, and other regulatory requirements as needed.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of applicable experience in financial services. A focus on client management within pension risk transfer is preferred.
  • Experience with PRT is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across F&G and with new and existing clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to others in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent organization and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in an environment of constant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver required results.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes.

Other Requirements

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%).
