Job Description:
Our Union City, Oklahoma facility is seeking an individual that possesses a strong work ethic with solid interpersonal and team working skills to join our Operations Team. The incumbent in this position is responsible for production and distribution of our product line, which includes controlling the inventory and maintaining the facility and equipment.
Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Plant operations using the HMI and SCADA systems to operate the various sections of the plant from the centralized control room.
- Ability to fill in for the board operator and provide leadership and direction to the crew as needed to prioritize and manage logistics, liquid and dry operations of the plant.
Essential Skills and Functions:
- 3-5 years of experience operating HMI (Human Machine Interface) and/or SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- 3-5 years of experience operating pumps and mixing formulations in a liquid batch or continuous operated plant or solids handling experience.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience managing a small team of employees.
- Forklift experience loading/unloading trucks.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work and operate safely by following all plant and Company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate safe work practices, including taking part in safety meetings, and advising the supervisor of any non-conforming conditions, as well as wearing all required personal protective equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot all equipment and processes for variations and adjust as needed according to our SOP and Production Plan.
- Execute on the addition of raw materials as required via manual or automated methods.
- Operate and maintain forklifts proficiently.
- Inventory Control: Complete daily checks and month-end reports as required to ensure sufficient materials are available.
- Report all aspects of production daily to the home office, which includes Batch Reports, Packaging Reports, Inventory Receiving Reports and Scrap Reports.
- Quality Control: Includes testing the product during manufacturing and shipping samples for lab tests.
- Work alongside quality personnel to ensure product meets rigorous specifications.
- Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and repair as needed to assure efficient production of products
- Preparation for maintenance – prepare equipment for maintenance activities for PMs and scheduled/unscheduled activities. Issue all permits for the required activities.
- Supervise and communicate with fellow operators, participate in safety meetings, and advise the supervisor of any non-conforming conditions, as well as wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Utilize computer skills for maintaining inventory records (Excel) and emailing (Microsoft Outlook).
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements and skills of the position
- Must be able to bend, stoop and walk for a significant portion of the shift.
- Lifting capacity between 75-100 pounds.
- Must be able to climb ladders and not have issues with heights.
- General knowledge of machinery operation and repair.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pass forklift training.
- Must have valid driver’s license and pass background check and drug screening as required.

Shifts: 12 Hour Shifts, 4-6 days/week (Nights, 6pm-6am)
