Teem is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and ensuring accurate and timely claims processing.

Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage for patients, including eligibility and benefits
• Contact insurance companies for verification and pre-authorization
• Update patient records with verified insurance information
• Review and resolve any insurance discrepancies or issues
• Collaborate with medical billing team to ensure proper billing and claims submission
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies

Requirements:

• Previous experience in medical insurance verification
• Experience working with US based companies
• Knowledge of US medical insurance terminology and practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in using medical billing software
