Job Description:
Stuart Dean Company is currently seeking applicants with a desire for hands-on experience in refinishing, maintaining and restoring of stone, metal and wood surfaces. The individuals are expected to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled physical labor tasks following established procedures and processes as directed by the foreman or supervisor. Technicians expected to be able to clean, prepare, refinish, and restore surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
Work is physical in nature and much of the work is performed at night and early morning hours. Applicants must hold a valid Driver's License and be authorized to work in the United States and have the basic ability to read, write and speak English. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, stand, bend, stoop and/or squat as needed for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to transport and use heavy equipment
• Expected to work with chemicals and solvents
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule - most work is night/evening work with occasional day and weekend work.
o Typical hours are 6:00 pm – 3:00am Monday – Friday: but flexibility is Required
• Willing and able to work at high elevations – climbing ladders and scaffolding as needed
• Valid drivers license is required
• Experience in restoration/maintenance/refinishing is a plus
