We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Application Interface Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing and optimizing user interfaces for sales applications, directly contributing to enhancing our sales processes. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a passion for technology and user experience, and is excited about the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
This is a paid internship.
This position reports to the Vice President of Industrial Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for sales applications.
• Collaborate with developers to implement UI designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine interfaces based on user needs and behaviors.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand their workflow and suggest UI improvements that streamline processes.
• Help create and maintain documentation for user interfaces, including design guidelines and user manuals.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to the sales application interface, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, and development to align on project goals and timelines.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Currently pursuing a degree a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, User Experience Design, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
o Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
o Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.
o Understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• A keen interest in sales technology and improving user interfaces
