Bungie is seeking an experienced and independent User Experience Researcher for a 1-year contract. In this role, you will deliver on research needs for Destiny 2 and Marathon.
The User Research team at Bungie is integrated closely with analytics, product, and game teams. Our research takes on many forms - from formative to evaluative, qualitative to quantitative, and often takes a mixed-method approach. This position will require strong quantitative and data visualization skills, in addition to qualitative skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with game development, design, and marketing teams to create and execute comprehensive research plans for Destiny 2 and Marathon.
- Design research plans, conduct studies, and transform data into meaningful insights about player perceptions, sentiment, and gaming experiences.
- Create persuasive reports and visualizations to demonstrate opportunities to improve the player experience and our marketing executions for Bungie games.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Demonstrates expertise in research methods and approaches.
- Works with senior members of the team to identify project stakeholders and plot outcomes against project KPIs and company goals.
- Follows standard research practices to execute individual studies with minimal direction.
- Can design and execute end-to-end research projects across a range of methods, including usability testing, paper prototype testing, and focus groups.
- Builds stakeholder-ready reports and visualizations to clearly communicate actionable research results, syncs with manager or senior members of the team on outline and messaging prior to report creation.
- Surfaces opportunities for strategic insights and recommendations across research projects and shares them with support.
- Independently shares insights with members of the project and research team. Flags to senior members of the team when insights might need to be shared with broader stakeholders and participates in that sharing.
- Partners with other members of the team and provides peer feedback.

Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly),
This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
