Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for operational excellence and pest control? We are seeking a dynamic Field Ground Operations Manager to join our HCC team in Pleasant Point. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee our pest control operations, support and manage a talented team, and ensure we meet our contract performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Implement and manage pest control programs, ensuring adherence to contract timeframes and company resources. Maintain strong operational relationships with external agencies and manage resources effectively.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Area Manager and other key stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Support the development of strategic plans to expand our service offerings and grow our client base.
- Systems & Compliance: Follow standard operating procedures, track operational improvements, and ensure environmental policies are upheld. Manage budgets, prepare financial reports, and oversee contract sign-offs.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and contract managers. Address complaints and queries promptly and effectively.
- Fleet Management: Ensure the vehicle fleet is roadworthy and well-maintained. Schedule services and manage ancillary equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Degree in a relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience in Possum Control Programs
- 3 years of experience in coaching on possum behavior and control methods
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with GIS and GPS software
- Valid driver’s license
