Chemical Operator II

Hello,
My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Production Operator (Chemcial)  for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­North Chicago, IL. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:

• Training will be on 1st Shift** then move to 2nd or 3^rd
• 2nd Shift 3:00pm – 11:30pm - Pay: $35-33
• 3rd Shift 11:00pm – 7:30am - Pay: $37-34
• Perform production activities in a clean room environment using sophisticated equipment.
• Inspect parts or products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Set up and monitor equipment at a basic level.
• Read, follow, and maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Maintain records according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) if required.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Follow directions, both written and oral, to execute tasks accurately.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge/aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Associate Degree in Natural Sciences or Chemistry preferred.
• Successful completion of a physical examination and respirator fit test.
• Ability to follow directions (written and oral) and work individually or as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical knowledge/aptitude, demonstrated through experience or personal interest (e.g., working on cars, fixing things at home).
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document work performed.
• Reliable, hardworking, with good attendance record.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn more about the chemical process and the business.
• Personal integrity and commitment to maintaining a high standard of work.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work well with others.

 
Note: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by the client and must be worn as required for the job.
