About the role

Care.com is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our Care for Business team.  The ideal candidate will be a data-focused Product Manager who has experience taking a product from zero to one, has a consumer experience-centric mindset, has experience working in a B2B2C space, and can drive growth through both incremental improvements, product turnarounds as well as strategic big bets. Experience from a Marketplace, Subscription, and/or Transaction business is highly preferred.

You are a product leader who wants to drive client acquisition, member engagement, and ultimately revenue growth for our teams. Each day you will lead cross-functional initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and experimentation to optimize user experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, marketing, operations, sales, and account management to deliver impactful growth initiatives that enhance client and employee value.  Care for Business is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sr. Product Manager. This person will support our clients and members to drive product engagement.

Note: This position is based in either Salt Lake City, Utah or Austin, TX and will be hybrid in office 3 days per week (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday) 

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and test innovative changes to maximize member experience.
• Launch innovative products for our clients and members to deliver valuable services while driving company revenue.
• Strategically build a roadmap based on key objectives and results, which incorporate your deep knowledge of the industry, product metrics, client asks, and most importantly, member needs.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives to deliver on commitments and OKRs. 
• Use data, curiosity, and good judgment to continuously prioritize a roadmap to ensure you are moving the most impactful work forward. 
• Balance company goals, client expectations, and member experience to make well-rounded product decisions.

Who You Are:

• Experienced problem solver: you have 5+ years of product experience, including leadership of an engineering team. If not direct Product Management experience, you have experience solving problems for customers and leading teams to build solutions. Experience working in a B2B2C space is a strong plus!
• Deeply curious: you operate with a sense of urgency and always look for new ways to understand our customers and members and create value on their behalf.
• Data-driven: you use data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics to learn and make decisions.  You are excited to dive deep into the data using analytical tools and SQL.
• Biased for action: you make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. You find creative ways around blockers and always have an option for what’s next and never an excuse for why you can’t proceed.
• A bar raiser: you inspire others to bring their ‘A’ game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don’t accept “because that is the way we’ve always done it.”
• An owner: you can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say “that is not my job.”
• A compelling story-teller: you use both qualitative and quantitative data to influence key stakeholders, inspire your team, and you can tailor your message to your audience.
• Collaborative partner: you can build strong relationships, you are a servant leader to your engineering team, and you seamlessly juggle priorities of multiple stakeholders.

Salary Range:  $136,000-$170,000 

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
