Simulmedia is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our Core Platform team to support our Operations & Client Success organization for project implementations and ongoing support of our Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementation. In this role you will work with Ops, CS and Sales teams to enhance the Salesforce platform by translating business requirements into technical solutions, suggesting improvements, resolving issues, and supporting with validation and quality control of our solutions. The scope of work may expand to include integrations and automation between Salesforce and our Core TV+ Platform.
This position is located in either Kyiv or Lviv, Ukraine. The team is located in both Kyiv and Lviv and primarily works remotely with occasional team meetings in the Lviv office.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
● Audit existing Salesforce infrastructure, analyze Sales/Service Cloud implementations and build Salesforce solutions based on identified highest priority business needs.
● Produce detailed technical documentation for existing and future feature implementations in Salesforce.
● Work with stakeholders (Operations, Client Success and Sales) on analyzing requirements, their feasibility, and designing solutions.
● Ability to conduct investigative and research tasks with precise attention to business needs, architecture, and technology specifics.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
● Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
● Integrate Salesforce with internal Core Platform services.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
● 5+ years of work experience as a Salesforce Engineer.
● Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
● Strong understanding of SOQL and SOSL.
● Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
● Experience with Salesforce integration and data migration.
● Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
● Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to communicate effectively with the U.S.-based teams and work 11 am — 8 pm EEST.
Bonus Points for:
● Experience with Ruby (to be able to modify our internal custom integration service).
Experience with messaging systems (AWS SQS, RabbitMQ etc).
