We are setting a new standard for lifting operations related to installing and maintaining offshore wind turbines.</em></strong></p><p></p><p><strong>About the technology:</strong></p><p>WindSpider is unique in the way it utilizes the <a href="https://www.windspider.com/markets/floating" target="_blank">wind turbine</a> tower as support for the crane structure making it scalable, modular, and ready for the next generations of wind turbines.</p><p>We are a group of highly skilled and experienced individuals within the offshore industry. Since entering the market, WindSpider has received very good feedback and an increasingly growing interest from several major international wind industry players.</p><p>We have now initiated the first phase of building our first full-scale WindSpider system and are looking for qualified, motivated, and experienced personnel.</p><p></p><p><strong>Lead Control Systems Engineer position overview:</strong></p><p>This is a <strong>full-time position</strong> based at our modern offices in <strong>Forus, Stavanger</strong>.</p><p></p><p>As <strong>Lead Control Systems Engineer</strong>, you will be responsible for the <strong>development and follow-up of our control system</strong>. You will oversee the work done by <strong>external suppliers</strong> while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Your role is pivotal in developing and maintaining control, automation, and electrical systems that support WindSpider’s cutting-edge offshore lifting solutions.</p><p>You will work closely with <strong>cross-functional engineering teams</strong> to develop advanced solutions for offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance. Courtesy of WindSpider.</p><p></p><p><strong>Lead Control Systems Engineer position requirements:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>motivated and skilled engineer</strong> with a <strong>“can-do” attitude</strong> and a <strong>team-player mindset</strong>. The right candidate should have:</p><p></p><ul><li>Expertise in <strong>automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems</strong>.</li><li>Experience in <strong>developing and following up on control systems</strong>.</li><li>Strong <strong>knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards</strong>.</li><li>Ability to <strong>write clear and structured technical reports</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>crane and lifting operations</strong> is a plus.</li><li>Fluent <strong>English</strong> skills; Norwegian is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong><em>We have strong owners and partners and will start building our first versions of our technology in the beginning of 2026.
