Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is seeking an IP manager who has electrical engineering/computer science and intellectual property experience working with high-tech companies. The person will be responsible for patent drafting and prosecution, IP clearance analysis, and IP portfolio management including patents, trade secrets and know-hows. S/he should be able to understand new inventions and technologies quickly, and work with both inventors/engineers and outside patent attorneys, generate IP clearance reports, host invention harvest meetings, and lead patent review committees for invention quality grading.
Location: Hybrid with at least 3 days in office in San Jose, CA office location remainder of time to work remotely
