THE ROLE

As a member of the People leadership team and reporting to the Vice President, People and Places, the Senior Director, Global Head of Workplace Experience, will define the way we engage with our team members at scale, elevate our team member experience strategies, and lead with purpose. 

This role will drive transformational change in how we engage our hybrid and remote team members around the world, while championing innovations that enrich Peloton’s end-to-end team member experience to reinforce our people-centered culture. The incumbent will be tasked with enhancing business performance, contributing to retention, and maintaining the structure and fabric of the workplace, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and security while delivering a comprehensive and engaging workplace experience. This is accomplished by leading the team responsible for providing workplace support while infusing innovation, technology, and creating experiences to foster an environment of excellence and inclusivity. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Provide oversight of the daily operations of Peloton work locations which range from delivering a white glove guest experience, organizing team member events, coordinating office moves, providing a welcoming new hire experience and responding to a variety of team member requests
  • Drive innovation through strong internal and external partnerships, development of best practices, operational and service efficiency as well as the identification of industry trends and tools that would contribute to department goals
  • Lead, recruit and manage a globally distributed team by establishing clear goals and objectives that are aligned with company expectations and the department’s vision.
  • Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and cross functional teams that effectively balance the needs of the workplace experience team, each location, and the business
  • Develop and successfully implement an overall plan designed to operate each location at peak efficiency without sacrificing quality and ensuring compliance to governing regulations
  • Identify, track and trend relevant metrics to improve team member experience, engagement and efficiency
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners such as Environment Health & Safety, People, Information Technology, Operations, and Marketing on facilities-related activities that have interdependencies on employee attraction, creativity, productivity, and retention
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of current state, future needs and facilitate SLAs on design, investments and implementation plan
  • In partnership with the Finance team, develop and implement portfolio financial plans/budgets and specific goals for sustainable services and program delivery
  • Champion a team environment that promotes and supports diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 12+ years of corporate workplace and employee engagement experience with 8+ years of experience in leadership roles a plus
  • Experience with complex operational, process, and workplace improvement projects with a proven ability to translate strategy into action that drives clear and measurable outcomes
  • Excellent decision quality, understanding how decisions have an impact across teams, work locations, and global objectives.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed organization, with excellent relationship management skills
  • Persuasive, credible, and timely communicator who earns the trust of colleagues and senior leadership including C-suite.
  • Financial and analytical acumen, able to make reasoned, calculated decisions based on data, critical thinking and pattern recognition
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, project management, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.

Base Salary Range
$287,000$373,100 USD
