Uptalent.io is seeking an experienced Building Envelope/ Curtain Wall Specialist with Revit expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and installation of building envelope systems and curtain walls using Revit. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards. As a Building Envelope/ Curtain Wall Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from office buildings and healthcare facilities to educational institutions and residential complexes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the engineering drafting and design of building envelope systems and curtain walls using Revit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient solutions for building envelope construction.
- Review and evaluate contractor proposals and bids, making recommendations based on technical specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to address any challenges or delays.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in building envelope technology, incorporating new methodologies and best practices into project designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building envelope design and engineering, with a focus on curtain walls.
- Expertise in Revit software for building envelope design.
- Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to building envelope systems and curtain walls.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results on time and within budget.
