Career TEAM is looking to hire a Partnership Manager that will build relationships in the community while assisting with driving performance. This position is an in-person role with an expectation of combining field work throughout Ventura County and in-office work at Career Team’s location. The Partnership Manager is an integral part of our team and will assist us with our mission of accelerating the human condition! 

This position is expected to be onsite, but will require occasional travel locally within the Ventura area.

Your Impact on Career TEAM’s Success:

  • Work collaboratively with the community and partner organizations to meet customer needs, particularly in the areas relevant to the program emphasis
  • Represents the company (when designated by the Executive Director) in WIOA MOU partner and other external partner/stakeholder discussions, planning processes, continuous improvement processes, and/or special initiatives
  • Facilitates operational and tactical connections with partner organizations (and project staff) relevant to improving or scaling existing or creating better (collaborative, online) solutions for skill assessments, identification of barriers, access to barrier reduction resources, access to a continuum of education, training, and work experience options); wherever possible, expands the resources available to WIOA-enrolled customers
  • Play a leadership role in communication efforts and initiatives (traditional and social marketing channels) relevant to promoting the regional brand and increasing the impact of outreach, marketing, and customer engagement
  • Provide day-to-day support and supervision to the Resource Navigators and Workshop Facilitators
  • Assist with the coordination of any special events at the AJC or in the community relevant to increasing performance outcomes
  • Build and develop access points throughout assigned counties
  • Act as site supervisor (when designated by the Executive Director) when located at brick-and-mortar sites
  • Approach each day and task with a “ZAG” mindset
  • Other duties and projects as needed

To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business, marketing, public relations, education, and/or human and/workforce development services
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive
  • Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A Valid Driver’s License

Additional Skills/Knowledge Career TEAM Would Love for This Role: 

  • Master’s or MBA degree
  • Experience and knowledge of WIOA workforce development contracts/programs
  • Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners
  • Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive 

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/yr

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Career TEAM offers a competitive benefits package including healthcare, dental, and personal/vacation time

Travel: Position may require local travel up to 70% of the time
