Glazing Estimator

·        Attend pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate.

·        Prepare takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs.

·        Liaison with building owners and consultants.

·        Prepare and follow-up on quotations and tenders, including attending post-bid meetings.

·        Order Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Agreements to Bonds, Tender deposits, Letters of Reference, CCDC Documents.

·        Review all contracts and accepted quotations.

·        Prepare work orders and handoff meetings.

·        Assist Production and Contract Management with preparations for prices.

·        Consult, communicate, and build rapport with internal departments.

·        Visit job sites.

·        All other duties assigned.

 

·        3-5 years’ work experience in an Estimating position; previous experience in the Glazing or Cladding Industry required preferred.

·        Completion of an Architectural Technology Diploma, Estimating Certificate or education in a related field.

·        Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

·        Strong communication and organizational skills.

·        Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
