Job Description:

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Shift: General Shift

Roles & Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting storage and backup systems
Participating in on-call rotation
Participating in storage deployments on-premises and in the cloud
Maintaining & monitoring of storage and related systems
Proactive and reactive systems maintenance
Peer reviews for planned changes (change management)
Contribute to & improve documentation and runbooks.
Backup / restore operations.

Basic Qualifications:

B.S./B.A./BE in a technical field, with relevant experience.
5+ years of overall engineering experience including 36 months of experience in infrastructure engineering (compute, network, storage).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in administrating Enterprise storage systems (3+ years)
1+ years Microsoft Azure IaaS
Knowledge of network technologies
Experience with storage designs & deployments
Experience with hypervisors – Hyper-V and/or ESXi
Experience in storage capacity planning and monitoring
Basic scripting skills in Python or PowerShell
Experience in incident handing & change management
Experience with storage system performance analysis troubleshooting & resolution of complex problems
Experience with backup/restore and archiving of data in a large environment
Analytical thinking and solution-oriented working

Suggested Skills:

Enterprise infrastructure, Azure IaaS, Automation, Self-motivated/Driven, Analytical skills
