What we are looking for: M.S. Walker has an immediate opening for a Long Island District Sales Manager.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market Staff, motivate, direct and provide guidance for sales team Achievement of team growth standards and goal attainment in line with company vision and values Field work collaboration and support of sales team. On road with and without sales team a minimum of 4 days per week. Work with each team member at least 1x per month Visit top 50 accounts current and aspirational accounts within total territory a minimum of 2x per quarter Identify opportunities within portfolio and work with Brand Management to achieve goals High level understanding of all MSW systems- EIS, Pocket Advantage, Zoom, Teams, sharepoint, planner etc Lead weekly team meetings Use technology daily to analyze account specific direction, goal performance, supplier performance, overall revenue growth by team member Stay abreast of new account openings Maintain and update global “prospect” list for & with team via exchange Work with and develop each individual’s daily route Work with team to ensure expert product knowledge and sales technique Provide direction for each new hire’s training program on your team (portfolio, sales, mentors etc) Responsible for regular review of each team members monthly pre planner Conduct mid-year and annual review Through knowledge of team’s merchandising execution. This includes floor displays, shelf and cold box position, utilization of POS including shelf talkers, case cards, and window signs. Achieving optimal shelf and display position is the goal at all times. Ensure floor and cold box activity is commensurate to overall percentage of MSW business. Regular strategic meetings with to key on premise groups, accounts Work toward and ensure MSW’s share of BTG, List, Cocktail placements, Back bar placement etc. Provide and ensure all team members produce excellent customer service in all aspects of sales Ensure team achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives Coach, guide and lead by example New product introductions: Success is defined as 100% minimum achievement of a new product roll-out goal
