City Wide has an IMMEDIATE opening at Maple Woods Community College. Under general supervision, this position performs cleaning tasks and operates various types of cleaning equipment for assigned buildings.

• Shift : Mon to Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Pay rate – $14.50 per hour

Duties

• Arrive on time and ready to perform shift duties
• Cleaning offices, empty trash and replace liners, clean windows/windowsills
• Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop of floors and stairs
• Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms - ensure that facilities are sanitary and stocked for use by clients
• Maintain clean and orderly janitorial closet

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background check
• Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace and be very detailed
• Cleaning experience a plus
• Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions
• Follow building specific or client specific COVID protocol
• HS Diploma or GED

The physical requirements of this position include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
