About the role:We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with Terraform experience to augment our client's Platform Engineering team. This position works as an individual contributor with architectural knowledge, building tools to support cloud enablement; with a focus on achieving repeatable processes that deploy solutions of high value. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in AWS and infrastructure. They will be able to develop thoughtful solutions while navigating the technical complexities of the cloud.
Minimum Job Qualifications:- Years of knowledge and experience designing and working in AWS cloud solutions with various technology approaches
- Experience with AWS services, in particular FSx, S3, EC2.
- Highly skilled with Terraform
- Skilled in Python, Java, Node JS, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines
- Great communication skills with an ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of how to build self-service solutions to be used by application teams
