We are recruiting a minimum of 3 full-time or 6 part-time Care Assistants to provide care and support to people living in:
- LS10 - Belle Isle, Hunslet and Middleton
- LS11 - Beeston
- LS12 - Farnley, Low Moor Side and Lower Wortley
- LS13 - Bramley
- LS14 - Killingbeck and Seacroft
- LS27 - Morley
- WF3 - East Ardsley

Pay: £12.50 p/hr (drivers) - travel time included
- Shift Pay rather than pay per call; allowing you to go Above & Beyond when supporting clients to achieve outcomes, maintain independence and build community connections.
- Mileage - 45p per mile for drivers
- Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
- Early Shifts: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Late Shifts: 4:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, we will agree you working pattern, setting a 2-week rota which includes:
- Alternate full weekends
- Evenings as agreed within your working hours

Job Description
You may already have many of the skills needed to make an excellent Care Assistant for Be Caring, patience, empathy and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all essential qualities for this role.
As a Care Assistant working in Leeds, you will:
- Provide personal care that protects people's dignity
- Promote independence using enabling approaches
- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
- Connect people to their communities by accessing local support and services
- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control
- Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time
Induction Training
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on:
- Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes
- Dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity
- Confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication
- Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
- Infection prevention and control, health and safety
- Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity
