The PRGX Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving growth by prospecting and generating highly qualified opportunities for our SaaS-based software solutions. This inside sales role requires close collaboration with New Business Sales leaders to develop a robust pipeline and convert prospects into successful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to Fortune 500 prospects using a strategic mix of phone calls, email, and other communication channels to initiate and nurture relationships.
- Meet minimum required meetings per week with PRGX salesperson with qualified prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and leadership to design and execute targeted outbound campaigns and manage all inbound opportunities.
- Create a strong first impression with prospects through a professional and engaging approach, delivering a compelling message and maintaining consistent follow-up.
- Speak to the value of PRGX’s solutions and build credibility and trust with prospects as well as internal and external partners.
- Professionally and flawlessly transition qualified leads to the appropriate salesperson.
- Develop and nurture leads to convert them into qualified opportunities for our SaaS-based software solutions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Develop a deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) landscape within the Retail industry and how our solutions can address customer pain points.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in outbound sales or business development, with a focus on SaaS-based software solutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Sales Engagement Platforms such as Groove/Gong/Outreach, etc.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset with a “hunter” mentality to seek out new business.
- A coachable, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Exceptional phone, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proven success in high-activity sales development, business development, or inside sales for B2B SaaS solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent sales experience.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales prospecting tools (Groove, Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
- Understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) or an account-based approach to selling.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, or experience in retail merchandising data or technology.
