Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking bright, motivated and result-oriented candidates as a Salesforce Developer within our expanding, dynamic IT team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development in general (Java or .Net experience a plus), and specifically in using Salesforce and the Apex language.
The environment is fast-paced and dynamic. The candidate should be able to work on a variety of projects supporting the automation of business processes for lead management, loan origination, and related areas.
Our client is in the early stages of using Salesforce within its organization, and up to this point has utilized consultants for its development work.
The candidate will work with existing developers to learn about existing systems, interface with and/or replace existing systems, and to be a mentor to those developers and users beginning to learn about Salesforce.
At this stage, our client's Salesforce team is small, so the ideal candidate will also be able to assist in administering Salesforce or providing direction in that area, for the near term.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• At least 5 years of software development experience, preferably in Java or .net
• At least 3 years of development experience using Salesforce
• Some experience administering Salesforce preferred
• BS degree in computer science or associated Engineering field a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and with little direct supervision or oversight, but also able to work in teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Salesforce's Apex language
• Experience with third-party Salesforce apps and components
• Experience with relational databases (PostgresSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL preferred)
• Experience with interprocess communications (e.g. HTTP, SOAP, REST, queuing technologies) •
