Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Junior DevOps Engineer for a contract position in St. Paul, MN. The opportunity will be six month of contract with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for following.
Provide support in maintaining the overall environments and landscape.
Troubleshooting and fixing deployment issues.
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD toolsSetting up tools and required infrastructure.
Coordination and communication within the team and with customers

Qualifications:

Should have primary skill in Jenkins and Perforce or some revision control tool
Experience in scripting such as Linux shell scripting and Python.
Able to handle Jenkins configuration, troubleshoot and resolve it.Good knowledge of Red Hat Package Management, RPM, yum repositories
Configuration management tools such as Ansible, tracking tools such as JIRA.
Creating Operating System image, installation, and troubleshooting.Some understanding with build repository.
Build and Run environment setup for upgraded OS/platform.Use tools such as JIRA for project tracking and configuration management tool perforce.
Bachelor's Degree: In software engineering, computer engineering computer science, or a related engineering field.
Masters Degree: In a technical discipline.
