Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Head of Information Technology to join our Corporate IT team at Pharmathen’s Sapes premises.
As Head of Information Technology you will perform the overall supervision of all IT company projects and guide your colleagues to achieve company goals. You will be accountable for the overall IT Project Portfolio Governance process and the IT project management framework.
More particularly:
What you’ll do:
- Be accountable for the IT Project Portfolio processes including IT roadmap planning, portfolio governance, budget operations, project methodology and resource capacity alignment
- Implement the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring that IT initiatives support and enhance the company's operations and long-term goals
- Collaborate with the VP of IT to identify technology needs, opportunities for improvement, and areas for innovation
- Report all IT operations to VP of IT and create KPIs for IT applications and the overall department
- Prepare written reports and technical evaluations, functional specifications, technical documents, proposals, and other assignments as required
- Maintain and execute SAP ERP’s applications/databases and keep records of authorizations matrix
- Participate in the development and validation of the IT Serialization Product Tracking application (SPT)
- Participate in the execution and validation of the IT QC and Production Applications such CDS, LIMS, OEE and IT Serialization Product Tracking application (SPT)
- Conduct regular IT audits and assessments to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to compliance requirements
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Supervise CSV procedures in the relevant sector and Asset Management procedure and keep track of IT inventory
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive information security program to protect sensitive data, intellectual property, and confidential information from security threats and breaches
- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws
- Supervise the development and maintenance of disaster recovery, back up and business continuity plans to ensure IT systems can recover effectively in case of data loss or disruptions
- Provide design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate and assist with troubleshooting to efficiently resolve manufacturing problems, providing MES support to ongoing Electronic Batch Record (EBR) operations
- Provide assurance and foster quality decisions with project teams and their site Quality Unit through your knowledge of Quality Systems and Regulatory Standards
Requirements
· The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience performing project management role on complex projects
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and software development projects
- Experience managing external partner relationships and contract staff
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak and write about technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrable ability to set and meet goals, assess resource needs, develop schedules, monitor and communicate status, and develop processes and procedures
- Proven track record defining and implementing successful Enterprise Business applications (e.g., SAP ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, serialization, quality management, quality control)
- Architect – Analysis, Design, document, develop, new BI QlikView – Report solutions
- Enhancements to existing QlikView Reports using QlikView development tools (Qlik - SAP Connector, QlikView Client)
- Upgrade and transform old QlikView reports using Qlik - SAP Connector and star schema architecture
- Architect and develop databases solutions in SQL server, designing and maintaining interfaces between SAP Hana, SQL server and other platforms
- Migration of QlikView reports to Qlik Sense technology
- QlikSense Server Administration
- Ability to perform in a team environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines
