Senior Product Test & Automation Engineer

Innophase IOT is seeking an innovative engineer for WiFi product product test development, including software/ hardware development, and test automation. The Right candidate should be a strong team player with excellent problem discovery and solving skills, with curiosity and strive to success.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, development, implement test software and hardware solutions for SOC and WiFI RF testing while working close with IC design and system team.
• Development necessary test infrastructure for new Silicon design verification, such as chip communication GUI, debug tool with various interfaces, and scripts.
• Test team responsible for characterization of RF, mixed-signal, and power management blocks, WIFI and BLE radio performance and system level testing across standards with inhouse developed solution.
• Develop test plans with design and system engineers for design blocks and system level end2end test solution, regulatory compliances, and execution and reporting.
• Collaborating with multi-functional teams including design, system, firmware, and software teams for design verification and new product introduction. Strong team player in a multi function, multi location team.
• Develop test automation, device driver and equipment drivers for RF measurement ( vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, power meters, DMM, signal generators, etc.)

Skills

• Strong software experience for test automation development of Wifi products performance and RF testing.
• Strong hardware experience for test hardware development of Wifi product RF characterization, hard schematic development experience a plus.
• Strong working experience with test equipment, such as Spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power meters, and litepoint test system.
• Strong knowledge of RF receiver and transmitter circuit, performance parameters such as IP2, IP3, Noise figure, EVM, SEM, and test methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of WiFi connectivity standards such as 802.11, BT/BLE.
• Expert in Python, C, C++  programming languages, equipment drivers, and test automation.
• Strong experience in design of experiments and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor chip development, test & production flows.
• Excellent communication skills and documentation skills

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EECS or related field.
• Prior experience in RF chip performance verification and 802.11 standard testing required.
• Minimum 4 years relevant Experience
