About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Finance - Operations and Transformation who will execute the financial transformation playbook for portfolio companies to drive key growth metrics, reduce cost, and streamline processes. This role will also be responsible for creating a process for onboarding new portfolio companies in terms of cleaning up financial data and implementing the core finance system architecture. You will work with portfolio companies as they are undergoing M&A to integrate the businesses and find cost-cutting synergies of the newly combined entities. The focus will be to take a data-driven approach to financial modeling, forecasting, and M&A strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside portfolio company CFO and the Turn/River investment team to ensure that they are focused on key business targets and meeting their forecasts
Execute against M&A synergies that will allow us to thoughtfully combine businesses and find cost-cutting synergies, all while still enabling top line revenue growth
Implement strategies to reduce operational complexity, streamline processes, and modernize core financial systems
Define and deliver the vision for onboarding new portfolio companies. This vision will include implementing the core systems, overseeing the cleaning of financial data to be loaded into these systems, and integrating these systems
Understand the business processes of the portfolio company and be able to translate those into requirements for the system architecture that will allow us to run our marketing, sales, and customer success playbooks
Work alongside portfolio company CFO to understand the financial processes of the company and then select, deploy, and work with an implementation partner to roll out core systems
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a financial transformation, FP&A, or systems implementation role
Experience working at a SaaS company and driving key metrics like retention (GDR / NDR), EBITDA, and revenue growth
Strong financial and accounting understanding so that the data is cleaned and the systems are set up correctly to create the chart of accounts, balance sheet, P&L, etc.
Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
In-depth understanding of US and Global financials operations
Location and Compensation
San Francisco, hybrid work model
Base salary range for this role is $210,000-$220,000, taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements.
