Pay Range: $89,975 - $116,968 Annual compensation.

A Sr. Stormwater Professional Engineer job is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department’s Capital Delivery Division. We are seeking a qualified professional to lead teams in the development and project initiation of complex capital infrastructure projects which are primarily Stormwater-related such as storm drain pipe rehab, channel restoration, culverts design and other Storm water improvement design projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing professional civil engineering work and leading teams to evaluate Stormwater-related issues and develop the scope, schedule, and budget for Stormwater infrastructure capital improvement projects to address these issues. Tasks will include managing consultants, reviewing consultant plans and specifications, conducting public meetings, reviewing contracts, amendments, and invoices, and performing other tasks as needed.
The candidate must have a strong technical background, be a problem solver, be able to work within tight time constraints, be able to work independently under the direction of an Engineering Manager, have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and possess good oral and written communication skills.
A significant amount of contact with the public will be required. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with City officials, residents, commercial entities, and other agencies.
