Your expertise in financial management will directly impact the Swap Dealer’s ability to navigate the evolving landscape of cryptocurrency markets, optimize our financial performance, and maintain our reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability, efficiency, and compliance of our operations.

Responsibilities 

• Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Swap Dealer's goals and objectives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial performance against these plans and provide insights to improve financial outcomes.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results.
• Liquidity Management: Manage the firm's liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs and strategic initiatives. Optimize cash flow and working capital management.
• Timely Audits: Wwork with external auditors to ensure audited financial statements are available in a timely manner
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on financial analysis and market conditions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units to support new product development and other strategic initiatives. Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making.
• Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging financial practices. Adapt strategies to ensure the firm remains competitive and compliant.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in financial management, preferably in a regulated entity. Prior experience in a Swap Dealer firm is highly preferred.
• Financial Expertise: Proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and optimizing financial performance. Experience with financial reporting and analysis is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and experience in managing relationships with regulators is a must-have.
• Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial scenarios, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective financial strategies. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking under pressure.
• Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present financial information to senior management and external stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling software.
• Curiosity and Learning: Prior cryptocurrency experience is not required; however, a general curiosity and desire to learn are a must.
