Job Summary:
The Radiation Effects Engineer will derive radiation environments and apply those models toward defining and refining requirements, mission risk profiles and CONOPS decisions, while supporting electronic part selection with timely reviews, test execution and information exchanges. You will represent the radiation effects discipline inside Millennium as a subject matter expert and ambassador. Through test results, analyses and recommendations based on sound engineering judgement, you'll support numerous programs and every product to make on-time and on schedule deliveries. You will play a vital role to improve the lifetime and capabilities of Millennium's products and vehicles with innovative radiation effects test and analysis. You will make an immediate impact by driving mission design through detailed environment modeling, transport simulations of radiation through materials, event rate calculations and availability impact assessments. The Radiation Effects Engineer will grow awareness of the critical role radiation effects plays in the overall success of Millennium Space Systems!
