Safety Officer/Safety Rep

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer/Safety Representative to join their team. As a Safety Officer/Safety Rep, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Provide safety training and education to employees
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain safety records and documentation
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer/Safety Representative
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Relevant safety certifications or qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license
