We are looking for a highly motivated, and passionate, PHY system engineer for the design, implementation, and integration of advanced cellular communication systems for our next generation base-station products. 

What you'll do:

  • Leading PHY activities from feature development to integration.
  • Focal point for all PHY and RF-related aspects.
  • Defining and writing system-level requirements.
  • Continuously optimize and fine-tune PHY layer algorithms to enhance the performance and efficiency of base-station products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PHY components with software, digital signal processing (DSP), and other subsystems.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the PHY team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Hands-on Lab work

What you should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in wireless communication/ PHY layer development or integration.
  • Good understanding of RX and TX PHY and RF chains.
  • Deep understanding of Wireless communication systems.
  • Working experience with RF lab test equipment
  • Solid experience with scripting language (such as MATLAB or Python)
  • Good system-level understanding within a multi-disciplinary environment (HW, SW, RF)
  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (written and verbal), team player and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.

Nice to have:

  • Involvement in research and development projects related to emerging wireless technologies, such as Massive MIMO and beamforming
  • Solid knowledge in the physical layer specifications of 4G/5G
  • Solid experience with programming languages
  • Solid experience with Linux operating system 

Education:

  •  B.Sc in Electrical/Computer Engineering
