TEAM
The Arene Professional Services team exists to transform jobs, train organizations, customize software products, develop a customer helpdesk function, and prepare others for software implementation.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
A successful candidate is passionate about breaking down complex technical topics for beginners and equally comfortable working with experts in the automotive space. You will design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs. These will cater to various technical levels and enable our customers and internal teams to successfully adopt and maximally leverage our technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop engaging and comprehensive training materials, online courses, and hands-on workshops tailored to the technical needs of our clients and internal teams
- Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to gain a deep, practical understanding of our products, technology, and workflows
- Gather feedback from training participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and overall effectiveness
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for a technical audience, including software developers, engineers, and product teams within the automotive industry
- Provide ongoing support to learners, ensuring they can apply new skills and knowledge effectively in their roles
- Track and report on training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness to stakeholders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years experience as a technical instructor in the corporate field, either in tech/software/SaaS companies or Japanese OEMs/SI-ers
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., software development, software architecture, embedded systems developer, automotive technology)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly
- Experience in designing and developing training materials and programs for adult learners
- Ability to create content and deliver training to a corporate Japanese audience
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed for in-person training sessions
- Fluent to near native level Japanese, both written and spoken
NICE TO HAVES:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in software development, especially in automotive applications or services
- 2+ years of experience with content authoring platforms, screen recorders, and graphic editing software
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and their application in training program development
- Fluency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken
