Job Description

This role is ideal for a candidate looking for a position within a Financial Markets environment with a finance or business-related degree, some exposure to working or study abroad and experience in a similar role with knowledge of trading platforms and exchange deal entry systems.

Duties:

This will need to be demonstrated when performing all of the below duties:

• You will be working in busy environment with changing demands and will be required to provide a high level of service. You will need to show initiative and communicate effectively with your team as well as other business areas.
• Ensuring all top day trades are allocated, cleared & accepted in a timely & efficient manner
• Working closely with front office brokers, assisting with all queries & requirements
• Deal Entry into in-house systems
• Deal Entry into external exchange systems
• Configuration & monitoring of counterparty commission rates
• Daily monitoring & problem resolution of downstream internal system feeds & processes
• Report and escalate issues to the OTC Supervisor & Clearing manager
• Provide back-office administration support as required
• Assisting the Brokerage Department with queries
• Efficient email management both of personal and group inboxes
• General Customer Support

Requirements:

• Diploma qualified – Finance, Economics or Business related preferable
• Experience in a similar broking or trading environment in settlements and support
• High level of resilience to be able to work in a hectic and fast environment
• Experience with the trade matching system – Trayport a distinct advantage
