Quality Lab Internship (Onsite, Louisville, KY)

The Role:  

The Quality Assurance Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to quality management processes within a dynamic and regulated industry. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to quality lab initiatives, learn about regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Support the quality team in various administrative tasks and projects as needed. 

·       Help maintain and organize quality-related data, including quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators. Assist in generating reports and presentations to communicate quality performance. 

·       Perform lab tests on product to analyze performance, viability, etc.

·       Help ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory requirements. 

·       Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness, within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvement recommendations. 

·       Participate in training sessions and workshops related to quality assurance and process improvement. 

·       Seek opportunities to expand knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.

Key Skills and Experience Preferred: 

Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Biology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline. 

Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external 

Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

Ability to travel as needed. 

Has a demonstrated passion that align with the core values of Congo Brands. 

Basic understanding of quality assurance principles is a plus.
