Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Provide direction on civil and structural investigations [ Parking lots, concrete pits , building mods.
Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil & Structural systems.
Provide technical support to N.A. facilities in areas of design and pre-construction planning.
Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil & Structural systems.
Investigate building industry trends, global client trends, and current/past building issues too. introduce innovation and improvements for N.A. civil/structural and building systems.
Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
Provide internal review of Civil & Structural system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
Ensure compliance with related local, national codes, facility operations and client.
Experience in building design and construction.
Experience in industrial and office buildings and building related systems.
Experience reviewing structural steel shop drawings, connection drawings, and erection plans.
Experience with project planning including estimating, scheduling and scope/proposal development.
Intermediate level experience of computer skills (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, & Outlook.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when required.
Willingness and ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a Major in Civil Engineering.
Level of experience 5-10 years.
5+ years in civil/Structural engineering design.
Experience in design criteria development for civil & structural systems.
Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturers.
Ability to travel once a month to meet with Customer [ Boots On]Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Autocad.
Software: Bluebeam, AutoCAD.
Bachelor's Degree.
