Wachter is accepting applications for a Physical Security Technical Support position. Ideal candidates will possess industry experience with single and/or multi-site operations in the voice/data/security or electrical field. This position provides project management technical and operational support.

Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of voice, data, security, alarm, access control, and or electrical field experience.
- Able to work: 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday in our Lowell, AR office, with occasional OT available or on-call rotations.
- Highly proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and database Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Efficiently read and decipher manufacturer instructions.
- Knowledge of Analog / IP CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Intrusion.
- Must type at least 40 WPM.
- Cisco, Juniper, March, Verint, Edwards, Bosch, Kiddie S2, Axis knowledge a plus.
- Experience with Network switch programming.
- IP camera programming experience.
- Manufacturer certifications a plus
Responsibilities:
- Capture data from projects including check-in/out times, time on site, and validating work completion documentation.
- Provide troubleshooting support to field techs via phone system calls, emails, and ticketing systems. Must be able to apply problem-solving skills to a broad array of components and systems.
- Implement, change, and create processes for different project needs when they arise.
- Configure and program hardware remotely.
- Ability to execute and or create programs and scripts.
- Responsible for assisting technicians in the field with installation and troubleshooting, network switch allocation, remote setup and/or verification of camera field-of-views, aiming and focusing of cameras, and programming cameras for entire sites such as a distribution center or large retail environment.
- Other responsibilities might include control panel programming, alarm system design and documentation, inspection documentation review, and support training for new techs
- Assist with any other technical needs for the teams as they arise.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
