Project Management Lead

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Project Management Lead to work for our company.

Summary:

• Client Agency is ​DHS​
• Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).  
• Will lead administrative support tasks, including meeting logistics and coordination, maintaining contractor EOD submission paperwork, contractor provisioning requests for email, PIV card, GFE, exit and transfer paperwork, documentation etc. 
• Will provide program management support includes oversight of the program, team communication, performance, personnel, financials and reporting.  
• Will be responsible for all aspects of the program management function. 
• Will be the primary interface with the government. 
• Will be required to attend regular meeting to discuss the program performance and any issues or upcoming initiatives. 
• Will be responsible for formulating and delivering an action plan to correct issues. 
• Will be responsible for formulating and delivering roadmaps, plans and details for accomplishing initiatives as requested by the government. 
• Will ensure that all deliverables are provided in a timely manner. 
• Will support security processing, which is the interface with government Office of Security and Integrity (OSI) through the COR on all security matters, to include physical, personnel, and protection of all government information and data accessed by the Contractor. 

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).  
• Must have an ACTIVE PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of related experience.
• Must have 10+ years of IT project management experience focusing on development projects.
• Must have 3+ years of experience managing DevSecOps projects.
• Must be willing and able to attend on-site meetings in Camp Springs, MD on an as needed basis.
• Must be willing and able to participate in a code challenge and orals presentation.

Preferences:

• An active CSM or Agile certification
