Description

Overview:

Caban Systems is the leading provider of sustainable energy for the Information & Communications Technology industry. We are in search of the right candidate that can provide financial support for the sales team and be the financial partner to sales operations, engineering and field operations. You will work with the Sales team in all commercial proposals and ensure they meet both Caban’s and the prospective client’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build commercial proposals and assist in the budget negotiation process, synthesizing detailed client requirements with internal data in collaboration with key internal stakeholders to determine appropriate resource and budget allocation.
  • Assist in the economic modeling of projects and deals. Calculate project financials: ROI, IRR, Benefits, etc.
  • Own the pricing model and drive its improvements by challenging assumptions and delivering robust analytics and market insights.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather customer-specific or deal-specific information.
  • Lead internal deal reviews with Finance and Sales leaders presenting the opportunity, deal structure, and profitability drivers (including all risks and opportunities).
  • Assist Sales Team in customer presentations and interactions.
  • Provide ongoing financial support for executed deals to drive margin and overall organizational goals.
  • Ad hoc reporting for sales data and other critical data sets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the following areas: pricing, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Telco and/or energy experience is a plus.
  • Professional level skills with analytical and reporting tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, GSuite, financial modeling, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
  • Must speak and write English and Spanish at the professional level.
