Disruptive mindset, not getting demotivated by failure, out of the box thinking and the willingness to take the risk, is the mindset we are looking for!</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>As a part of your job, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Be an active member in a backend or cross-functional team;</li><li>Design, build and test well-written Spring Boot microservices;</li><li>Deploy software and services to Kubernetes clusters and other application containers;</li><li>Be an active member of our backend community. </li><li>Contribute to system architecture and design decisions</li><li>Execute full software development life cycle</li><li>Develop scalable and efficient solutions in a scope where performance and scale are critical</li><li>Code review and mentorship of one or two junior developers</li><li>Ensure proper test coverage and documentation for all features developed</li></ul><p><br></p><ul></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar</li><li>Strong understanding of object-oriented programming</li><li>+3 years of experience as a Java software developer (mandatory experience with Java 17 and latest versions)</li><li>Experience with SpringBoot (3+ years)</li><li>Experience with Hibernate</li><li>Knowledge of web architectures and services (HTTP, REST, JSON)</li><li>Knowledge of principles of microservices architecture design (clean and/or hexagonal architectures, message driven solutions)</li><li>Knowledge of SOLID principles</li><li>Experience with continuous integration tools, like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Maven</li><li>Experience with cloud and containerized solutions (AWS, Azure, K8s, docker, etc.)</li><li>Problem solver mindset: for a given context, think, design and present a solution for a diverse set of stakeholders (from CTO to architects and developers).</li><li>Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban)</li><li>Interest and motivation to explore and investigate new concepts and technologies.</li><li>Proficiency in English and Portuguese (both spoken and written)</li><li>Strong leadership skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Cryptography and security knowledge is not mandatory but highly desired</li></ul><p><br></p><ul></ul><p><strong>Personal traits</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and Clients;</li><li>Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy;</li><li>Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;</li><li>Willingness to collaborate with other players;</li><li>Strong communication skills.<br></li></ul><p></p><p><span dir="ltr">At Celfocus, we are committed to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace.
